Center for Regulatory Research, LLC was founded by Dr. Susan D. Cohen, a regulatory plant pathologist in September of 2005. Dr. Cohen has more than 30 years of experience in the regulatory field with 16 years as owner of Center for Regulatory Research, LLC and 16 years with the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, U. S. Department of Agriculture. She has published a number of significant academic articles on fungal plant pathogens, risk information systems, geospatial applications for pest risk assessments and the non-indigenous risk assessment process. Dr. Cohen serves as the President and Chief Executive Manager of the company. The company employs part-time undergraduate and graduate students to assist with projects. Experienced consultants are also available for more complex projects.
