Welcome to the Center for Regulatory Research, LLC. Our company provides regulatory services to academic, industry and government sectors. Regulatory services include preparation of bio-product and field release permits, microbial risk assessments, biosecurity and phytosanitary training, coordination of scientific and peer review meetings/workshops, product feasibility analysis and SBIR grant proposals and multi-media compact discs.

September 2008 -- USDA FAS Cochran Fellows Training Program on pest risk assessment, Sept. 13-27, 2008, Center for Regulatory Research, LLC

August 2008 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC launches online publication store called Center for Regulatory Research, LLC Publications offering print on demand publications. Publications can be ordered online and shipped to your location.

August 2008 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC relocates to the University Technology Enterprise Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota near the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis campus.

July 2008 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC presented a poster on " Classifying and Categorizing Scientific Literature Specific to Risk Assessments of Transgenic Crops" at the national meeting of the American Phytopathological Society, July 25-30, 2008, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

June 2008 -- Cancelled: One-Day Training Workshop, Transgenic Microbes and Plants: Product Development, Risk Assessment, and Regulatory Issues, June 11, 2008. Workshop will be rescheduled later in the year.

May 2008 -- Upcoming One-Day Training Workshop, Transgenic Microbes and Plants: Product Development, Risk Assessment and Regulatory Issues, June 11, 2008, Radisson Hotel, Roseville, Minnesota near University of Minnesota, St. Paul.

April 2008 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC presented a poster on "Assessing the Scientific Literature on Food-Borne Pathogens for Data Gaps and Content Specific to Microbial Risk Assessment" at the Joint U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Homeland Security Conference on Real-World Applications and Solutions for Microbial Risk Assessment, April 8-10, 2008, Rockville, Maryland.

April 25, 2008, Center for Regulatory Research, LLC attended the Twelfth Annual Symposium on Industrial and Fermentation Microbiology, La Crosse, Wisconsin.

March 2008 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC now accepting summer Risk Analyst Intern applications. If interested, send an email to c4rr@sbwireless.net.

February 2008 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC provided Biotechnology Risk Assessment Training to Environmental Services staff of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, in Riverdale, Maryland on February 5-6, 2008.

Training instructors included Dr. Susan Cohen, Center for Regulatory Research, LLC and Dr. David Andow, University of Minnesota, St. Paul

August 16, 2006 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC is designated a USDA Cochran Fellowship Training Center and will provide phytosanitary and pest risk analysis training to international plant health specialists from August 30 - September 8, 2006.

August 1, 2006 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC publishes cooperative research with North Central Research Station, U.S. Forest Service on climate modeling applications for risk assessment in Forest Ecology and Management journal.

June 20, 2006 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC will give a short course on Modern Risk Assessment Methods for Microbial and Plant Biotechnology, August 1 - 3, 2006 in St. Paul, Minnesota

June 14, 2006 -- Center for Regulatory Research, LLC will be presenting an invited talk on "Challenges in Isolating Nucleic Acids from Endophytic Fungi" at the 14th annual Cambridge Healthtech Institute meeting on Nucleic Acid-Based Technologies in Arlington, Virginia from June 26 - 28, 2006
